Introducing 'Whoreders': A Maximalist Organizing Show

Updated: Jul 2

I'm thrilled to present the first installment of my new TV show, "Whoreders." Think of it as a Trojan horse—beneath the surface of seemingly endless whore puns and flamboyant costumes lies a profound blend of radical acceptance and transformative advice. Since its debut, many of my friends and their friends have shared how the show inspired them to declutter their own spaces. Do you know someone overwhelmed by their belongings? Perhaps that person is you? I encourage you to share this video with them.

Hoarding vs. "Whoreders" three ways in which Space Witch inspires transformation in the toughest cases:

Getting in the door with ridiculousness. Many aren't ready to confront their issues with clutter. "Whoreders" sidesteps this resistance by using humor to engage viewers, providing a light-hearted way to start thinking about decluttering without feeling the pressure.

Radical acceptance wins over the heart. From the initial assessment to deciding what stays, I approach every space with zero judgment. This acceptance helps participants and viewers alike to tackle the often emotional first step of decluttering: shedding the shame. Once that barrier is removed, the actual process of letting go becomes much simpler.

Memorable and pattern-breaking advice. Over the past seven years, as I have been evolving into the Space Witch, I've refined my decluttering methods with innovative, sometimes outrageous, sayings that make a lasting impact. Whether it’s comparing neglected items to unattended yet plentiful 'Mormon wives' or cheekily asking if an object gives you a 'life boner,' these memorable phrases stick—and they work. After all, why hold onto something that fails to thrill you?

Ultimately, this dynamic trio of strategies has the potential to liberate someone who struggles with organization, or at least shift their perspective on their belongings. Take our show's first star, burlesque performer Mx. Mona VonHoller, who returned to her costume storage unit a week post-filming to declutter even more on her own. Those wigs she swore to "brush out and keep?" She let them go for stunning new ones AND cleared out enough to downsize her unit, saving money each month. Guess what she can spend that money on now instead of just paying for space each month? That's right, bigger better wigs, fabulous feather fans, and luscious robes. Space Witch is ultimately here to support maximalism.

If you've checked out the link above thank you! It means a lot for you to watch, like, and subscribe. Please share this video with someone who could benefit from it. And yes, I'm on the lookout for future guest stars!!! Could that be you or someone you know? Also, I would like to be friends with anyone weird enough to like this.

Aaand, if you'd prefer a private session—like the several I conducted with Mx. Mona before tackling her storage unit—I'd love to work with you. Please reach out when you are ready to schedule a free consultation or remember to come back and visit me at spacewitch.com when you are.

With Love,

Space Witch
